Tamworth FC: New signings will excite fans, says Harris

Tamworth director of football Tim Harris is excited by the arrivals of former Redditch pair Tristan Dunkley and Lewis Wright. The duo penned Lambs deals on Thursday night and join keeper Jas Singh as new additions. Harris is delighted to have captured both men and said: “Tristan is someone who will excite the fans. “He has got pace to burn, he can hurt defenders and he is a talented lad. “I think his concentration is something we need to work on. “There’s a lot more to come from him though and it’s great to bring him to the party.” Harris added that Wright is ‘unbelievable’. “He can play anywhere,” said Harris. “He can play at centre half, right back or in midfield. “He’s got a great engine, he’s totally committed and good in the air. “He is also a winner, which is important.” He added: “I think we are pleased with how things are shaping up so far. “We are assembling a squad that we want to be knocking on the door.”
